Is it typically cheaper to fly into MCO on a Saturday instead of on a Sunday? I have my room booked for October, and I have been looking at airfare. Kind of just getting an idea, not really ready to book anything unless I get a really great deal. Anyway, in switching dates around it always pops up as cheaper to fly in on Saturday, instead of Sunday, which is what I have my hotel ressie for.

Should I add another day to my hotel stay in order to get a cheaper flight? It would only end up costing me another $25 dollars to add the extra day to my stay. Or should I just wait a few months and see what happens?

Personally I don't like to buy airfare that far in advance. I think you still have time to watch for great deals. JMHO:cool1:

I understand you said you weren't ready to buy yet, just checking it out. I'm doing the same thing and my trip is 17 months away! Just getting an idea of when might be cheaper to fly, when prices go down.... in ALL my searching Saturday hasn't made a difference from Sunday. Flying on something odd like Tuesday or Thursday has made a difference though. Changing your dates would depend on if you could afford it. How much cheaper is the flight? How much would it cost to add another night on to your trip? If you're saving $20, but it would cost $75 for another night, then you have to make sure that extra $55 isn't putting you over budget. If it's not, I'd add it on :D It's another day in the World!

The flights I have found are $60 cheaper on Saturday. I was thinking I could add a night at a value resort, and it would only cost me about $20 more than I am spending now. I have an AP, so my pass is already paid for.

it all depends on routing, time of year, airline, passenger loads, how far in advance, etc etc.

Sundays are often more expensive as many business travellers fly out Sunday night.

If it would only cost you another $20, I would definitely book the extra night and leave Saturday!!!

I have found that lower fares book up faster for a Saturday than for a Sunday.
