I'd forgotten what a good movie this was. I think it was a true story (anyone know for sure?). Picked it up for XMas in the $5 bin at WalMart. So glad I did!

Yes, it is a true story. It is about a man named Bill Lishman. He and his family are ecologically friendly people and live in Port Perry, Ontario. He is an artist. I've met him a few times. It was on tv here the other day as well and I had the kids watch it. I enjoy the movie as well.

Thank you for answering. I thought it was because of what it said at the end of the movie, but one of the reviews called it a "fable".
