Hello all! When I was planning my Disney wedding, I visited the Disneymooners site daily and learned so much! (I didn't know about this site then!) Once of the things I am so glad we did was to use confetti for our exit (we liked the idea of rose pedals but just wanted to be different ;)

Here's a link to one of our pics --

I just wanted to throw the idea out there because Disney did allow it and I loved how the pictures turned out. Our guests loved it too!

Happy planning!
Stacy

Thanks for the link looks like a ton of fun.

I have 2 questions if that is ok with you :)

1 do you need somthing to get them in the air or is throwing them ok :)

2. is it ok to use them anywhere on disney wedding site or is it limited??

I am at sunset point and I would love to use them there as we are leaving :)

Please let me know. I have already bookmarked the site so I will be buying :)

Also wondering if this can be used at all Disney sites, getting married at the Wedding Pavilion. Also, which one did you use - the flutter fetti confetti sticks or the wedding fetti? You picture looked awesome and this is perfect, my fiance hates bubbles and I didn't really want to do rose petals. Thanks for the help!

We did the flutter fetti confetti sticks -- they were just over a foot long and had a rainbow/shimmery outside to them. They were such a hit! As for where they can be used, I will have to direct you back to your EM - to be honest, I only told my EM about it and our ceremony was at SBP. The exit took place right outside of the BW conference center -- the guests were gathered outside of the doors and our EM brought us through the building and then we took off outside as the guests shook their confetti wands at us. Even the adults loved it!

That is the greatest thing about the sticks -- the only thing you do is take the tape off the end (our EM told the guests to do that and they didn't seem to have a problem) and then flick your wrist. The confetti just flings out of the wand and floats in the air. As for Sunset Point - talk to your EM. I can't imagine that they wouldn't let you use them there, but I would hate for you to buy them and then be told no :( Maybe tell your EM that is what you have bought for your exit and see what he/she says ;)

I don't have an EM as I'm a uk intimate so if anyone finds out about using this at sunset pointe could you post here and let me know?

I aldo found these: http://www.talkingtables.co.uk/confetti/product~154

But I'm not sure how the canon works - we have to get it on the plane afterall!

I just found some of the flutterfetti that Stacey used on ebay so I may go ahead and order that

Stacy the ones I've seen are in packs of three (6inch sticks) did you give one to each guest or more than that? We only have 6 guests and that includes the bridesmaid and best man so was wondering how many to get for the effect

Make sure you check with your EM before buying confetti of any kind. I'm not sure that Disney allows confetti at all sites any more.

When we had our vow renewal in May 0f '04 we were told that Disney does not allow confetti wands at any location. But you never know, they may have changed again.

What a fantastic idea!! :cool1: The wands look great and so FESTIVE!! Instead of rose petal cones.

I read it somewhere that Disney's motto was "if you can dream it they can do it!!" What a great idea!! :bitelip:

Thanks Disneybridein2k3!

<fingers crossed>
