I don't usually do the fluffy question thing :) , but I am wondering......do you go on field trips with your kids at school?

We are "taking turns" here! LOL!! Grandma (my mom) went on the first one, I went on the 2nd one, and my husband is all lined up for the next one on the 23rd. With four kids in school, we need to take turns!!

I do. It's fun to see what your children are like outside their "home element," and how they interact with their friends, teachers, etc...And my son is still at the age where he's not embarrassed to death about me being there, so I'd better enjoy it while I can. :D

I have and plan on chaperoning on field trips for my younger DD's (preschool and grade 1). DD#1 in 6th grade does not want me to chaperone anymore only because the kids make fun of the other kids whose parents chaperone!!! It hurt my feelings but I do understand (kids can be awful!!).

I also go to DD #2 classroom at least once a month to volunteer on math projects, read etc. I host the Valentine party this year. I love being at my girls school and volunteering! My little one's enjoy it too.

I've gone on almost every field trip with both girls. Since I didn't work outside the home it was easier for me.

My DD is in 10th grade and I'm chaperoning her marching band today to the Chicago Columbus Day Parade. Saturday I'll be going with them to the Valparaiso University Football game. They are the half time show. We have a really good bunch of kids in band and it's a lot of fun to be with them.

No, but once I start driving I plan to help chaperone some of Jessi's field trips (since Bobby's not old enough to take any yet....once he starts, I'll go with him as well.)

I usually chaperoned on my ds's field trips when he was in elementary school. We only had one child and there was no taking turns around here :)

I did a lot of them through elementary and middle school.
Not so much in high school.....but by then I was working in the school district and they saw enough of me :D

I'd LOVE to go to more than I do.

Work schedule does not allow me to go very often . . .:( :( :(

I went with my dd once when she was in pre school, but that's the only field trip I've gone on. My mom has gone once with both my kids. My dd just had her first field trip this school year on last Thursday.

Not many parents go... in fact, they say they don't need help!

Iguess with small class sizes, teachers aides, student teachers, and support personel (Ie, OT, PT, etc) they have a lot of people already there..
