Fluff post..."dad-napping"

I know it hasn't really been declared fluff day, but had to share a cute kid story.

So my kids get up and we are laying around in my bed this AM and I asked them if we should go have lunch with Daddy today. My DD, " Yeah, let's kidnap him!" My DS, " No, don't you mean "dad-nap" him?"

My DD then plops on Dad's pillow and snores out loud a few times, and then says, "You mean like that?"

DS:" No, you can't kidnap Dad. He's not a kid. You have to dad-nap him."

Needless to say I was quite amused at this conversation. So we dad-napped Dad, took him to Mall of America, hit the Disney Store, bought a few things and then had a great meal at the new Bubba Gump's Restaurant (which by the way is a must-do if you are ever at MOA - yummy food, even better atmosphere).

So, just had to share a little silliness today... Have a good weekend!

Wow, that sounds like it was so much fun! I wish my DH could be dad-napped for lunch but with his job it's not possible.

We've been known to hold some dad-nappings of our own.....they're only young once and that is what it's all about!
