I notice many people make return visits to their favorite WDW restaurants and I'm just curious.

Do you find a favorite entree and order it on every visit?

Do you always order something different?

3rd choice (mine): Do you order the same thing every time, but have an adventurous SO who allows you to steal from their plate? ;)

Denise < --- actually adventurous in her eating habits (heck, I've eaten wild boar, alligator, pheasant, venison, etc.), but when I find a favorite...I get stuck on it.

I want to try different things but when I get to WDW I want my favorite dishes/food because I can't get it at home so I tend to order the same things. My husband is the same way.

Well, I've only been to the World twice, so I'm still trying new restaurants, with some of my favorites sprinkled in. However, I'm the type who will get my favorite dish every time, but sample from my DH's plate (luckily he doesn't mind, as long as I share mine, too).

adventurous. on our upcoming 8 day trip, we're only eating some place we've eaten before twice.

This is such a difficult question. I love trying new places but have found so many that I like. In general I try to go to my top 3 favorite. Restaurant Akershus, 'Ohana and Liberty tree Tavern for lunch. Then I have other favorites like Marrakesh and Sci Fi that I can forgo to try others. This year I finally got to Nine Dragons but at the last minute canceld the Rose and Crown and headed to Akershus because I couldn't stand not going!!!!
At the resorts I have not found anythind other than 'Ohana that I really have to go to though Boma is close up there. I tried Jiko and the Concorse Steakhouse this time.
Now I am hungry! ;)

I wouldn't say I am adventurous ~ but I am open-minded about trying new things.

I tend to do it more when it's a buffet rather than a full order off a menu.

Good question :)

Very good question.

I am an adventurous person when it comes to food, therefore although we do tend to go our favourite restaurants we also like to try new ones. Can't really say that I only order the same foods at my favourite restaurants, usually like to try different things

I'm a very boring meat and potatoes person. I tend to return to my favorites, but on my October trip, since I am going solo, I have decided to try some new places as well as my favorites (Alfredo's, House of Blues & Sci-Fi). I'm doing the old favorites for lunch and then trying some new places for dinner. I'm trying Shula's, Yachtsman's Steakhouse and Narcoosee's (though I'm tempted to change that to Citrico's) and I'm leaning towards trying California Grill.

I'm the play it safe type in the food category. I can't help it. Here are my favorite restaurants and my usuals:

Kona Cafe - Tonga Toast - press pot of Kona coffee

Artist Pointe - pork chop w/maytag crust and mac n cheese. Berry cobbler for dessert

Narcoosees - the filet (it is delicious!)

Maya Grille - the filet. and churros for dessert

Alfredos in Italy - fettucinne alfredo and cheescake for dessert

Beaches & Cream - what can I say, hot dogs and hamburgers and the occassional caesar salad

Le Cellier - the filet (can you tell I eat a lot of filets on my vacation?)

Okay - I'm not adventurous, but I'm just me.

Both!?

I can be a very adventurous eater, but there are sometimes when I want my favorites. For example at the Kona Kafe I would get Tonga Toast. At Le Cellier I'm getting the Cheese Soup. Heck, that's the reason I'm going to those two places in the first place. But aside from that, I may go to some restaurants that I have been to before but I will order whatever appeals to me on the menu.

I'd have to say a little of both. Having been to WDW many times, we have our favorite spots that we return to regularly. At those places, there are a few foods that we particularly like and will order each time.

On the other hand, there are so many wonderful and interesting restaurants in WDW that we make it a point to try a couple of new places on each trip. For example, last trip we ate at Boma for the first time and loved it. I don't know what we'll try next time but I'm sure we'll find something good.

Adventurous. I tend to wander off the beaten track in picking restaurants and entrees.

Add another to the adventurous list!!

I love trying new things, especially ethnic foods. However, I do have favorites also but I'm not afraid to try anything new.

I've been an adventurous eater since I was a kid, but I'll admit that if I find something that I really REALLY like, I'll keep going back for more! I could be at Friendly's or in a hole-in-a-wall in Chinatown, as long as I think it's yummy, I'm there!

Besides that, I'm always open to trying new dishes and restaurants... I have yet to meet a cuisine I didn't like :)
