Flu vaccines for those under 23 months

I could have sworn I read the vaccine shortage would NOT affect babies because it's a different dosage. But I know Gem had trouble and my friendn's pediatrician said they were short also, but her son is getting one this week. Did anyone else read this?

I have never read that they are different dosages, but I really couldn't say.

I do know that the first year babies get their flu shots they are supposed to get 2 shots 1 month apart. The Nurse in my Pediatricians office said it is very unlikely they will have vaccine on hand for the 2nd shot for the younger babies.
