Do you get them?

----------------

I have to get one. I got mine today, since I'm on the "high risk" category. It's vital for me to get one each winter, if not I'm guaranteed to have some bad disease. My family has to get one too, to help prevent me from getting sick. When the nurse gave me the shot, I barely felt it and didn't bleed. I said "That's it?", that was nothing compared to other needles I've had.

I get them

My parents want me to every year because my grandma's a retired nurse and so on so on.

I don't get them. My parents never saw them as necessary for me. I hardly ever get sick, except for the occasional cold, in the winter.

Of course, now that I've said that, I'm gonna catch the flu..awesome. lol

I get them. My dad works at a government agency, so he gets them for free and since hes on the medical staff on that agency, he gets them for our family.

NO.
My dad got one before and he got terribly terribly ill so my mom doesn't allow us to get ones. She's afraid the same thing will happen to us.

I can never have a flu shot.

Last September-January when I had Guillian Barre the doctors all told me never ever have a flu shot. Apparently it can bring back the Guillian Barre and I definitley don't want that again.

Nope, I'm not. Hopefully I can stay healthy this winter.

I'm getting mine next week I think.
I've never had the flu. I don't want it. I'd freak out if I got it. I'd rather have a cold for almost a month than have the flu for a week.

The only person in my family who doesn't get it, is my mother and that's because there's like egg or something int he vaccine that she's allergic to.

I've never had one. I've never had the flu either.

I've had the actual influenza. It sucks!! High fever, aches, chills, bad sore throat. All you want to do is lay in bed the whole time.

I might have gotten them when I was little. I just got my chicken pox and menigitis[spelling?] shot 2 weeks ago. Both hurt! D:

I haven't gotten mine yet,but i always get them.
We like to be healthy and my family gets sick enough.

I only got the flu shot once when my grandma was really sick. We couldn't go visit her unless we had it or something, incase we infected her with it. I forget exactly. It was a looong time ago.

Nope!

If I get it, I usually get sick anyway.

But if I don't...yeah.

But every stinkin' time I've gotten the pnumonia shot, I've gotten it.

I think I've had pnumonia 3 or 4 times in 15 years.

I get it pretty much every year lol.

Since I have asthma I can get one even in the shortages :teeth:.

I have gotten a very mild flu from it a couple of times. But it was better then the full-on disease.

I've never gotten the flu (knock on wood), but I still get sick even with the flu shot. However, it drastically decreases the number of times I get sick.

I can get one during shortages too, it's vital. The only year I didn't get it was last year. My oncologist didn't want me having anything raw (cookie dough which really upset me!) and I couldn't have any live virus vaccine.
