Flu Shot, Will you get one?

Yes. I am in a high risk group and so my family gets one as well to try to help protect me. My kids (10 & 8) aren't thrilled but I know it won't kill them while the flu might. :guilty: Even DH who hates needles/shots gets one now.

I probably will, because of my son's asthma. He gets one every year, as well as my younger son because he's still little. DW started getting one ever since she had Hodgkin's.

Last year they did them here at work, so I'll get mine through there. The boys go to their pediatrician and DW goes to her oncologist.

I never get one, even though it's offered at my place of employment for free.

What symptoms did you have?

------------------------------------

About 3 or 4 hours after I had the shot I started to feel very sick to my stomach and like I was going to have diarrhea.. Never vomited - nor did I end up with diarrhea - but instead I ended up in bed with chills (absolutely freezing), a wicked headache, and aches all over.. Even my eyes hurt.. Lasted about 36 hours I think and then I was fine.. It wasn't pleasant, but I think it was a whole lot better than being sick with the flu for an extended length of time, so that's why I'm going to go ahead and get it this year too..

they give them away at work, and the nurse is kind of sexy, so i will get a few of them
