Flowers and Star Wars and Harry, oh my! TR started, link inside!

OK, I'm all caught up on your plans. 2 weeks in WDW sounds ridiculously fabulous! I am really glad I read about your IOA plans because I didn't consider how insanely mobbed the Harry Potter park will be. We're going there on our last day (Tuesday May 31 - I'm hoping the Memorial Day crowds will have dwindled by then). I didn't realize that people often get shut out because they reach capacity so quickly! The Harry Potter park is the main reason my fiancee is excited about going to WDW, so I definitely want to make sure it goes smoothly.

Your plans sounds wonderful so far. Hooray for an exciting trip! :teeth:

From what I have read and heard IOA (Wizarding World) can get really crazy. It is luck of the draw. Some people show up and stroll right in whenever they feel like it, others get the mega crowds and end up waiting to just get in.
I love that picture of Tinkerbell flying to Tomorrowland! I think it's nice to have some days toward the end where you play it by ear and do whatever you feel like at the moment. We usually end up doing that, whether we planned to or not. :rotfl:

It will be nice to have this extra time to just go slow and do whatever. We have never really had that on our shorter vacations.

Why would Beth want to do Tea and Rosie??? :confused3

Or would that be Tea and Frumpets? Trumpets???

Tea? how about a nice cold frosty cocktail, to relax and lounge around the pool with, that sounds more my speed, tea at the Grand solo doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun. :cool1:

Nice call! I'm right there with you!

Only two months to go! I am counting down the days!

I have a bunch of new spring clothes that I am sure will get lots of use on the trip. ;)

Day Twelve

Another "free" day. The parks I have down as options are a water park, Epcot or possibly a Hollywood Studios day if things didn't work out with Star Wars Weekend on Friday.

I find it hard to plan for these last few days which is not necessarily a bad thing, it just means that we get to relax and make the decision the day of. I think I may make a reservation at Chefs de France just for the sake of having a reservation. We may end up just eating counter service or off site, who knows! There are a few off-site restaurants we will probably eat at: Pizzaria Uno's, TGIFriday's, and Olive Garden. I know that list does not sound exciting but we do not have them in Canada, at least not where I live, and they are cheaper than eating at a WDW table service.

I know these updates have gotten rather boring since I don't have much to say as there is not much to plan! I promise that the trip report will be much more interesting! ;)

Another free day:thumbsup2

I love TGIFridays and Olive Garden. As much as I love Disney dining, it can be nice to head offsite for a meal especially if you are there for 2 weeks.

Only two more months!!! It is so close, yet so far away.

HI there! So sorry to have gone missing for a spell. Lots going on in my little world.

As for NOT planning much on those last days is not necessarily a bad thing- leaves room to repeat the days that didn't go according to Plan A. :thumbsup2

Pizzaria Uno's is really expensive. If you are going to do pizza, go to Port Orleans French Quarter. They make great pizza and you can order it and pick it up.
Olive Garden-All the salad and bread sticks you can eat.
TGIFriday's-yuck.

Sorry-just thought I would let you know my opinion.

A Relaxing Day sounds GREA!! We have a couple figured in our 8 days , Judy wants some later starts and more layed back this time !!

I agree, eating off site can be a nice break.

That is what I am thinking. I have been struggling with how to plan the last few days and I have come to accept that it is best to leave them "open".

 See we eat at these restaurants all the time when we are in the States and love them all. Uno's I don't find all that expensive at least not compared to what we are used to in Canada and also compared to WDW restaurants.

Nothing wrong with that! Everybody has their own vacation style.

When we were in Canada we ate at a resturant called "Boston's" it was a sports bar, plus great seating if you didn't want to watch any sports.

It's always fun to plan for spontaneity. :rotfl:

:lmao: If it is up to Alek and Erich we would probably stay at the hotel all day and watch Power Rangers.

Boston Pizza? We have those all over, they are chain restaurant. I like them but the food is PRICEY.
