Flowers and Star Wars and Harry, oh my! TR started, link inside!

I love your non-planning day, I don't think I could do that, I have tried but it is a sickness ( I must plan :lmao:).

Sorry I haven't been around much but work and life are keeping me very busy.

Sorry I haven't been around much but work and life are keeping me very busy.

It is painful not to plan but there really is nothing to plan!

I understand about being busy, school is crazy for me, I feel like once I get home at night all I want to do is sleep. I am hardly on the boards.

My mom has been giving me a hard time because I haven't been on to update in a while. It is crunch time at school right now so I have been pretty busy! I only have two weeks of class left and then a week of exams. Lots of papers, assignments and tests due these next three weeks. Come April 14th I will be free of school for the summer!

The summer should be nice and relaxing though, Mom and I are headed to Ohio for an Easter visit with the American side of the family, then we have the two week Disney trip in May, in early July Erich and I will be running a 5K and then we will be ending the summer with two weeks in British Columbia visiting our dad and mountain hiking.

Day Thirteen

The parks that I have down as options for this day are Epcot and Magic Kingdom. I'm thinking that I will make a lunch ADR for Chefs de France in case we choose Epcot, I really love their "mac and cheese".

If we choose to go to MK we will just eat counter service in the park or at the Poly.

Day Fourteen

This is a "no park" day. We have a few options for this day.

Option #1 - Breakfast at Ohana, visit a water park, maybe go to Downtown Disney in the afternoon/evening and visit DisneyQuest.

Option #2 - Breakfast at Ohana, drive to the coast and have a beach day or visit the Kennedy Space Center. If one of the DCL ships is in port we can go wave it off as it embarks on a cruise.

Option #3 - If we opted to add an extra day to our Universal tickets we could head there for some more Harry Potter fun.

Day Fifteen

Departure day :sad1:

Our flight is not until the late afternoon so we will probably take the opportunity to visit one last park. Doesn't matter which park since we will only be there half the day.

I am late to the party, but I am finally here. Your trip sounds absolutely amazing. The nice thing about a long trip is that you don't have to go - go - go the whole time:thumbsup2

Did not read all the chatter in between so I could catch up , so I don't know if you made a decision or niot on the SW/BG. My opinion - If you and the boys like coasters definitely BG. Sea World has a few rides, but it mostly shows, but a much more realzing park!.

The Space CEnter is pretty cool too ::yes::

Can't wait to read more:goodvibes

ok I'm finally back lol

Got a lot of catching up to do! hehe

:thumbsup2

We decided not to go to SW/BG, Alek and Erich wanted to leave the "extra" days open so the trip would be more relaxed.

We went to the Space Centre back in 97 but I do not really remember it at all.

Oh, you're at the end of your plans already. I can't wait to hear about your 2 week long trip! I'll be taking one in 2013 and I'm starting to think I shouldn't plan it as much as I would a week long trip. We're going to have so much time to experience the parks!

I thought the Space Center was pretty cool. Not a whole day thing, but lots to look at.

I've always thought DisneyQuest would be a fun way to spend some time. I think I'd want to be going on a cruise, if I went to Port Canaveral. Waving to others just wouldn't be enough. :rotfl:

Let me introduce you to my two wonderful sons Erich and Alek, yes that is me in the background.

Does the look on your face have anything to do with what they may have done before? hehe

haha I saw your pic of Rafiki in the rain and the first thought that came to mind was: eww wet monkey lol I must be tired

Taking a relaxed approach is a good way to "plan" for a two week trip. Too bad I can't take my own advice. :rolleyes1

 I am dying to get back on a cruise ship. Maybe in 2012? :confused3

Awe..you guys look so sweet at Disneyland! :)

Thanks! We were cute kids, don't know what happened! ;)

This just really struck me as funny -- ordering mac & cheese in a French restaurant.

I have 2 girls (5 and 2 years old), so mac & cheese takes on a whole other meaning! They get it all the time but it never looks as good as that picture does!

Love the pictures with Remy! I haven't seen that yet.

Such great plans !!

We are in DHS on the 12th for the morning at least maybe longer, we might bump into you. It is so wonderful that you get to go to WDW with your family. I would give anything to have been able to go with my Mom. You will have precious amazing memories.

Time for a Special Pre-trip report update by yours truely Alek the Amazing!

So you all have been reading about Lessa's plans but we all know what will really happen and the main reason we go on vacation, to gourge ourselves! :woohoo:

So as being as awesome as we are we are still mortals and must abide by the principles of the living and one is eat to live! So how do we do it? AWESOMELY!

Our Christmas cookies, sacred family tradition an example of our awesomeness.

Keep in mind this would be a day if Erich or I could do it. So Normally first thing we do after we get off the plane is hit up the IHOP something we do not have in Canada, I know it IS disturbing, and get our binge-fest started ordering the best omelettes they have.

IMG_4601.jpg

A few hours later we check into the hotel and first thing we'd do if it wasn't for Lessa's nagging is stay in there for two weeks ordering room service.

dgd.jpg

So after we check in we have to hit up one of disney's all you can eat breakfast buffets for a second breakfast.

D8020.jpg

After we have finally had our fill for the morning we plan to hit up the Grocery store for the essentials.

D042.jpg

D133.jpg

After our exhausting trip to the grocery store its about lunch time so off to place with the Kitchen sink, we don't remember stuff by their names but only by what food they serve.

050a.jpg

Then the main event! Last year I was a little dissapointed by the Kitchen sink and this year we plan to get at least 2.

After Lunch we decide to hit up the rides.

026a.jpg

Starngely enough we'll start to have hunger pains again and decide to get some candy.

D4022.jpg

So after our candy binge Erich was a little hungry so he'll have a snack which he calls a Manwich.

D119.jpg

The Bruschetta makes it healthy!

Just as Erich finishes his snack PARADE TIME!!!

AK132.jpg

D319.jpg

After the Parade we'll start to feel the pains of hunger so off to dinner we go. Another all you can eat buffet!!

D6071.jpg

Some one tries to take my food at the all you can eat buffet!!? I don't think so.

After dinner we'll still need some dessert so still being a little stuffed from all the eating we'll just have a couple things to share.

Dinner is nearly over and Erich and I are STUFFED

FatErich.jpg

So we'll meet up with our good friends the Power Rangers and fight crime to work it all off.

And thats how a typical day would go if Erich or I could plan it.

Good morning

The story behind the photo.....After a long night of Canada Day festivities with the kids the night before, I guess I was a bit hung over.

GetAttachmentaspx.jpg

Lessa.jpg

Really there is no story; the picture PopArt Gal was talking about in Lessa's last post was taken at Mama Melroses, I remember it being a VERY long and hot and tiring day, the restaurant was very loud and crowded and we had a 8:00 P.M. ADR and with MS the combination does not help matters, I was looking forward to a bit of quiet and relaxing, I know quiet and relaxing at Disney, who am I kidding, and this was only day three of our 8 day trip almost 6 years ago where we were celebrating Erich's graduating from high school.

What peace and quiet looks like at Disney

ONLY 44 more day to go, one has to love this number!!!
