Flowers and Firsts - A May 2010 PTR, 5/13 TR started! Link on pg 39

I'm all caught up Michelle!

Your plans are looking wonderful! You and your mom are going to have such a great time! I can't wait to hear about the segway tour. I was just telling my in-laws about that as something they might want to do when they go with us next summer. I saw some folks doing it this week but it was during regular park hours. I can't imagine trying to manuever those things through some of those crowds!

Also, I know I am late, but please accept my condolensces on the loss of your grandmother. I know exactly what you mean when you say that the grandmother you loved was already gone because that's how I felt about my mom. She had brain cancer and my "mom" was gone months before her body passed. It's still so very difficult and yet also a relief to know that they are not suffering any more and are in a better place.

Day six looks great, too! That butterfinger cupcake is making me drool. Yum! And THREE WEEKS!!!!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

YAY for three weeks to go! :yay: and YUM for that butterfinger cupcake. Every since I saw one on Brooke's TR, I am determined to get one (sounds like a snack credit during my May trip!) :thumbsup2

I agree that the theming of ToT is excellent! I hope your mom will ride Rock 'N Rollercoaster with you. I LOVE it too. Coral Reef looks neat. We've never been before.

Coral Reef is awesome inside, eating next to those huge tanks is so cool!

Hey Michelle....we will also be in DHS on May 6th! Meetcha at rope drop!

See ya there! Will you be making the mad dash to TSMM as well???

I'm excited about the Segway tour, but I will admit, I'm a bit nervous about driving back from WS to FW when the tour is over - when there are lots of people that I could potentially run over! :scared1:

Thank you for your condolensces. I'm so sorry about your mom. A good friend of ours lost his mother to brain cancer and it was so so difficult for him and his family. My other grandmother died of cancer as well, and even though we were not at all ready to lose her, it was a relief to know that she was no longer suffering.

Day six looks great, too! That butterfinger cupcake is making me drool. Yum! And THREE WEEKS!!!!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Doesn't it look yummy?! AND the inside is all gooey - I doubt I'll be able to eat more than a few bites, but I HAVE to try it!

:hyper::jumping1::hyper::jumping1::hyper:

I am soooooooooooo ready!

Tracy

Yay for 3 weeks!!
They will fly by and you will be on your way!!! Woohoo!!

With only three weeks to go, you will be there before you know it!!! :yay:

Woo Hoo! Thanks for celebrating with me ladies!

I know! It's all Brook's fault that I have to eat one....... :sad2:

:lmao:

Moving right along........

Day 7 - Friday, May 7th

Our last full day in Walt Disney World. :sad1:

I have no real plans for this morning. We may go to the Magic Kingdom to finish anything left on our list that we did not get done previously.

If we do, I think a stop by

for a Dole Whip is a must!

Not sure where we will eat lunch. Maybe

Pecos-Bill-Tall-Tale-Inn-and-Cafe-S.jpg

or maybe Casey's for some corn dog nuggets

Of course, we may not go to MK at all, we may go to Animal Kingdom instead

I'm going to leave this decision totally up to Mom. We'll see which park still has the most things in it that she wants to do, which one suited her more, etc. She may even totally surprise me and want to go to Hollywood Studios

Whichever one we go to, we will likely leave right after lunch and go back to the resort to enjoy a bit of time at the Siesta Bar

and Dig Site Pool

After a couple of hours we will clean up and go to Epcot. We want to check out Garden Town, which is only open on the weekends.

We may also check out the Flower Power concert starring Davy Jones

YUM!!!

Bring on the Dole Whip and the Dole Whip float....yes, food porn is NOT good for those of us trying to lose weight.

19 days to May (at least it is in Oz)...:thumbsup2

What a great place to have your final dinner -- we love LeCellier. And you will love the drinks at Siesta's (I'm rather fond of the Pina Coladas, myself; be sure to lay in the hammock drinking one...and just relax). :)

Hmmm, which excites me the most...Dole Whips, Pecos Bill's, the Siesta Pool Bar, or Le Cellier? I don't think I can decide because they all sound perfect for a last day! :thumbsup2

By the way, I think you should have a Facebook...:rolleyes1;)

That sounds like a wonderful day!

I hope you do stop to see Davy Jones, I'd love to hear about that!

Ben and I taste tested that cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread for you, just to make sure it was still up to par....it was scrumptious!:upsidedow

Such great plans for you guys! I love all the fun updates with the visual itinerary! makes me excited!!! YOU are totally going to love the Flower and Garden show I bet, I really want to see that someday. Can't wait for pics from WigD and YOU!!! :goodvibes

Le Cellier... SIGH.... How can you resist that soup and bread!!!! :lovestruc

We have Epcot on our schedule this day too but I am anticipating an afternoon break...see you at Siestas!!

Can you believe I've never had a Dole Whip at WDW, I have had one, but it was at the Dole Pineapple Plantation in Hawaii. It was so good and refreshing too, I don't know why I've never gotten one at the MK!

Remember when Marsha Brady tried to get him to come to her school prom ? :rotfl:

Oh my gosh, yes! Didn't he end up showing up and playing? I loved the Brady Bunch when I was growing up - watched it every day after school!

Relaxing is on the agenda for sure! The last time we stayed at CSR I never could find a hammock that wasn't in use - I'm hoping to this time around.

I hope the last day works out as planned, I definitely want to have time to relax a bit in the afternoon, but also don't want to miss anything, you know?

Facebook........are you being an enabler???????

We will have spent so much time in Epcot by this point, that I'm sure we'll have a chance to sit for awhile and watch the concert.

Thanks for giving the cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread a trial run for me, glad to know they are still edible ;)

The pictures really do make it more exciting, at least to me anyway! Plus, Mom has been reading along some and since she has never been it gives her a better visual as to what we will be doing.

I wonder if Anita is going to get any of her F&G pics posted before I leave....... :rolleyes1

I can't resist that soup and bread, thats why I have to make an ADR there every trip!

We have Epcot on our schedule this day too but I am anticipating an afternoon break...see you at Siestas!!

Woo Hoo! See ya there!
