Has anyone seen information regarding the F & G Festival performers after the beginning of May ('09)? So far, all I've seen are the acts only including the very beginning of May. Since my DD and I are going the following week, we were just curious who might be performing. :goodvibes

I'm so glad they announced the later groups. We'll be there for the 5th Dimension after our 3 night DCL cruise. I'm so glad I talked the family into the extra night to try out Kidani!

Bobbi:goodvibes

We'll be there for "Remembering Ricky Nelson," but I'm sure we'll find somewhere else to be! I'm sure the show will be helpful, because he was pretty forgetable on his best day...yawn...

The new schedule is disappointing, but I guess they have a lot of trouble trying to land acts from that far back. Most of them are in the Great Concert in the Sky by now.

Come on, Jim. Ricky Nelson was in Spaceship Earth if you forgot him. I don't think the Nelson's are on the TV anymore in SE. Ricky was pretty hot in his day. I was a big fan.

Now we got stuck with Tony Orlando since we arrive after Memorial Day. We saw Peter Noone either last year or the year before and he was very good. Also saw the Buckinghams, Arlo Guthrie and they were both pretty good, too.

We'll be there for Davy Jones.
I wouldn't have minded seeing 5th Dimension either. :)

some of the older groups just don't work - Disney has tried most of them.

many just don't appeal to WDW guests.

My DD and I will be there for the "Nelson" thing and Jose Feliciano. When I told her that, her reaction was :rolleyes1 for Ricky, and :thumbsup2 for Jose. Maybe her age (late 20s) has something to do with it  .

BTW, what are the chance of hearing "Feliz Navidad" in May? ;)

We saw Jose Feliciano two years ago and he was excellent. Saw someone last year and they were so unremarkable I can't even remember who they were.

I'm another vote for the Fifth Dimension, though -- I think they'd probably do a good show.

We have a lot of "oldies" for concerts after Saturday night Marlins games and some of them are quite good -- others are a little disappointing.

I guess the best way to view these things is, they're free -- if you like them, fine; if not, oh well.
