Flower & Garden Fest 2013- When are topiaries up?

Hi Everyone,

I am planning a trip for spring 2013, and one of the weeks I am considering would end 3 days before the Flower and Garden Festival begins.

What I am most interested in is seeing the character topiaries. Do these appear in the park prior to the official start of the flower and garden festival? If so, about how many days in advance would you say?

I may just decide to take our trip later in the month, but thought I would ask first! TIA for your help!

You may start to see some of the F&G stuff then, but it won't be anywhere near what they have up for the official opening. Many of the topiaries are "backstage" in planters awaiting their debut. Its amazing how quickly they get moved "onstage" for viewing.

Yeah, they'll start to get some flowers and such out before the official start of the festival, but they tend to keep the character topiaries top secret until opening day.
