Floridians-did you see the rocket launch?

Pretty cool.

We discovered during the last shuttle mission that it takes off basically right outside our front door. Cool.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing shuttle or rocket launched. They really are amazing.

We didn't want to go outside in the chilly air, so we just sat in the den and watched thru the window.

I love watching them go up, especially the shuttles.

We saw the end of it. I wish it had been at night, because those launches are so much better to watch.

Last time the shuttle launched at night (in December) we were at Disney/MGM Studios. We were at the boat dock to go to Yacht Club and the whole sky lit up. It was an amazing sight!

I watched it from my lanai. Nice launch. Because the sun was starting to set, I could really see the burn. I was really surprised they were able to launch. It has been very windy in the Orlando area. I did notice that the vapor trail blew around and made a cool looking pattern in the sky.
