Folks--I have been given the possibilty of a business trip to Hollywood, FL in early April. Now, I have this AP burning a hole in my pocket. So, could someone tell me, how far the drive would be from Hollywood to Orlando. I am thinking that I would go down 2 or 3 days early, hit WDW, rent a car, drive to Hollywood for my meetings, and leave from there.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

I've driven back and forth from Ft. Lauderdale to WDW before Deb, which is just about the same. . . :)

It's about 230 miles one-way. . . as I recall it took about 3 1/2 hours going up and using the Fla. Turnpike, but it cost a few bucks. . I took I-95 back and it was free but too longer. . :) :) :)

Take me with you Debbie!!! I'll drive and we can get there in three hours :p

It will probably take you around 3.5 hours from Hollywood. I live in the N.W. area of Broward county and it takes us 3 hours if we drive without stopping (Hollywood is S.E of us). The FL Turnpike is probably the best way to get there, more direct and less traffic. It costs us about $11 one way, but I think it's worth it.:D

3 to 3 and a half hours. NO PROBLEM!!!!! It would be near criminal to be in the state of Florida, in possession of an AP and not go to WDW.

That's a totally manageable drive. Let's go Elaine!!!! :teeth: Now to convince the powers that be at work, they really need to send me to do these trainings!!!!
