Floridian boat dock question

Hey all
Planning a engagement during wishes. Can you clearly hear the music from the boat dock at the Grand Floridian?? If not is the porch at Narcoossee's something you can walk out on if your not dining??

I don't know about the boat dock but you can't watch the fireworks from Narcoossee's unless you are dining there.

Anyone can watch Wishes from the deck at Narcoossee's but it would be rude to block someone's view from their table. The marina near Gasparilla is another good location.

What about booking a Dessert Party at MK for Wishes? You'd have a great view, and hear the music too!

THis used to be true, but I read that this has recently changed. I think that you need to be dining at Narcoossees to watch the show from their veranda

If anyone is trying to view from the table, the view is most likely to be blocked. Most people exit their tables and go to the porch, and tehn return afte Wishes.

They pipe the music in at the outside Trader Sam's patio. At least they did last August. Not the most romantic of places, I suppose. I don't think you will be guaranteed to have music piped in at the resorts. You may want to seriously consider doing this in MK if you really want the music.

Have you thought of doing either the Ferrytale Wishes: A Fireworks Dessert Cruise or Magic Kingdom Wishes Cruise (Premium)
25' Tracker Pontoon both of these have the music.

Usually not at all crowded. We have been on NYE when it was crowded but still plenty of room to move around. Josh at easywdw has good information down near the bottom of this post with photos.

You could also consider checking out the Private Dining Experience WDW offers. I set this up for our anniversary a few years back. Our table was on the dock at GF where the yacht is docked (not sure if that area is still offered). You select the menu/drinks/dessert in advance and they set everything up. You also have your own private butler.

We watched Wishes over dessert and had the music piped in. Definitely a splurge, but thought it was worth it - really a memorable experience. Good luck with whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be wonderful!

We sat next to a proposal at California Grill one year. The server brought out a cinderella's slipper desert W/ the ring just as Wishes ended and the guy got down on one knee - she said yes. They were at a table by the window (we were at the table by the window next to them.) I was very impressed with the prospective groom's planning!
