Okay, so were completely convinced of staying off-site. We are canceling our Beach Club reservations and going to stay at either Bonnet Creek or Floridays. We'll save at least $1,500 for a week and get a 2BR condo to boot! Also, we had a 30% off pin as well for Beach Club. . .it's unbelievable how expensive staying at Disney is.

Anyway. . . we've done the Bonnet Creek research and it looks great, but right as we were getting close to deciding we stumbled upon a bunch of great reviews for Floridays.

So can anyone opine on their choice between the two and why? Could you provide some "building preferences" at those locations as well?

We really appreciate this board!

I've stayed at Floridays twice and will be trying out Bonnet Creek for the first time in May. We're switching because after 2 weeks we've seen all there is to see at Floridays and wanted something new. Here are some of the other reasons we chose BC over returning to Flordays:

Pools - BC has 5 I believe, Floridays has 1
Splash area - BC's is not inside of a pool like Floridays. We had to stay right on top of my DS2 last year because it was hard to walk in the water for him near the spray toys and he kept falling in.
Activities - no activities at Floridays that we saw
Location - BC is right next door to Disney, Floridays is about 10 minutes out.

I also did not really like how dark the rooms are at Floridays. Just seems like the door wall and bedroom windows do not allow enough light into the rooms.

I also prefer the BC floor plan to Floridays because we will not be eating there much but the giant dining table at floridays is right in the middle of the room. It looks a little more out of the way at BC (I realize I'm nit-picking here).

I did enjoy Floridays quite a bit. It's very quiet (sometimes seemed like we were the only guests there), clean, has house keeping service, has giant jacuzzi tubs (staying in building 1 at BC just to keep the triangle shaped tub) and beautiful grounds. I'd recommend staying in Building "B" at Floridays so that you can walk right over to the pool if that's where you decide to stay. You can also get a discounted rate by being their "friend" on facebook.

If you have other questions just let me know, I feel like I've been researching these two locations for years!:surfweb:

Enjoy!

Hi Mandy - thanks for the reply. We are traveling with a 16mo DD. . . does that influence your BC recommendation further?

I don't mind the drive, especially since we may check out SeaWorld with DD.

Disney location choices are overwhelming. I appreciate your detailed reply.

Cheers!
