Florida Sun vacation rentals/Windsor Hills

Any one rent from Florida Sun Vacation rentals?
I'm looking at Windsor Hills townhome with splash pool
(poohs dreamscape) or a 4th floor condo (Nana's place)
Any comments any advise is appreciated.

Just returned today from WH! LOVED IT!!
We rented through Florida Sun Vacation Homes and stayed at Shrek's Cottage which was so nice and the boys (6 &3) loved their room. The little pool was a hit and nice to use; the community pool is awesome!
What the pictures look like are true to actual. Our home was very neat and the little things that needed attention, such as the pool door security alarm's battery died during the night ( yea- not fun to listen to) was taken care of 30 minutes after our call to the front desk.

oh wow! Thank you whfan! So glad you liked it and that they took care of the pool door battery pretty fast. It's nice to know that the pictures look like the actual places too. Did your place and the grounds/pool appear to be clean enough for you?

The grounds at WH were very neat and clean. The community pool was very clean as well and a nice temperature IMO.

We rented a 3br condo through Florida Sun...I think it was called Tweety's Nest. Loved it but I had some minor issues. I hated the walk from the parking lot spot to the elevator and then to the door of the condo. I'm used to parking right outside a door of a condo or townhouse, and this was more like an apartment building setup. Also, the floor of the kitchen was sticky, but not a dirty sticky. Instead, it was a "too much cleanser" sticky. Thirdly, there was only half a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. We went through that in like 2 days. There should have been a full roll, or at least a spare roll. What could that possibly cost a management company??

I also had no idea that there was a $6 fee (refundable) for the pool. That was not in any literature either before we travelled, or in anything in the condo. We walked to the pool with no money and I was embarased when the attendant told me about the $6. Thankfully since it was nearly 8pm, and the pool was empty, she let us in without it.

Other than that, the place was great, the managment company was fine to work with, and I'd recommend both WH and Florida Sun.

Thank you stepnut for your input as well. I did read on the website (and in my contract) about the $6 fee for the pool (refundable) AND about the need to bring or purchase extra toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, laundry soap etc. (only starters would be provided) .You would think however that a WHOLE ROLL would be there. Thanks for telling about the walk from the parking lot to the elevator. I went back and forth trying to decide on a condo vs. townhome and I decided on the townhome for that very reason. Management have been very nice so far.

We leave saturday for Windsor Hills. I booked pooh's dreamscape.
We will be driving and won't get there till sunday evening. I think the townhouse will fit our needs better than the condo. I'll let you all know how it goes. Thank you so much for all your help and comments.

I'm in a 4th floor condo right now [see 'At Windsor Hills Now' thread]. The management company is Florida Sun. We did it through owner. No problems. Well stocked.

Even i had a vacation at Florida Sun. It was the best. We also got through the manager.
