Cast of Characters:
Sue - 44 - (Thinks she's 24) Chief Planner, Worrier, and Yo Yo Dieter.
Vicki - 16 - (Thinks she's 26) - Emo,Thrill Ride Seeker and Mums Best Friend.
Today was not a great day for me, we had already planned to go to Universal as we were meeting a friend of Vickis and her parents who were staying at the HRH, Vicki and I were going to do Universal Studios in the morning, meet her friend at 12, the girls were going off to Islands Of Adventure whilst her parents were going to show me around the HRH, before meeting back up with the girls for dinner. We had booked Mears the day before to pick us up from the Dolphin at 7.25. However 2am the night before I woke up with the most dreadful tummy pains imaginable and I felt awful, I tried really hard to sleep it off, but after waking up for the umpteenth time at 5, I had to admit defeat.
As soon as I stood up, I felt sick and dizzy, so I wake Vicki up at 6.45 and tell her how poorly I feel and as I dont fancy her going to Universal on her own by bus, that I will get her a cab and phone Maddys parents to tell them why.
We wait for a resonable time and Vicki phones the HRH and asks to be put through to their room, they are very understanding and feel really bad for me, but they offer to drive over and pick Vicki up so that the girls can still have a lovely day together. They arrive by 10.30am and drop Vicki back at about 11pm in the night and take the trouble to phone me three times in the room to make sure I was ok and keep me updated on where Vicki was. They were so kind, and Im hoping if I feel better tomorrow that I can return the favour and have Maddy come visit us for the day. Vicki was all excited when she came back and told me how it had rained nearly all day and that they had rode Hulk when it was pouring down. They finished the day off by having dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and Maddy's parents bought Vicki a Hard Rock Teddy and some Hard Rock Drumsticks.
Now you will be pleased to hear that there are no piccies of me ill in bed, but here are some of Vicki and Maddy and the Hard Rock.
Im so sorry this is such a short and pretty boring day
