Florida Resident Waterpark after 2pm Passes?

Does anyone have the Florida Resident Waterpark after 2pm passes? We are a very frugal family of 6. We bought a used travel trailer just so we can stay at the Fort for cheaper than a hotel and splurge on food and fun things we normally wouldn't be able to afford to do. We are considering buying the waterpark after 2pm passes. We have never been to any of the water parks before. I'm just wondering how much you can get done in 4-5 hours (closing times of 6 or 7pm in the summer). Are the waits long? How much can you actually accomplish during that time? Thanks so much!

While I can't answer your question specifically, I will say that the beauty of having an AP is that you don't have to worry about how much you get done on a particular day. If you miss something today, come back tomorrow or the next day. If something has a long wait, move on to the next thing or take a break with some ice cream. I haven't been in a water park after 2:00 (the only time we've been to one, I was unwell and we left shortly after lunch), but I'd guess that the later you get into the afternoon, the thinner the crowds will be. At least that's how it is at our local water park.

I was going to suggest trying a waterpark first but just saw the price difference is so small that if you were to try both parks out, it would save you money with the pass...

I personally don't last 5 hours in a pool or waterpark but I don't really like them in the first place so that would be a great way for me to get a couple in to make my daughter happy and save some money.

Seriously! We would never pay that price for our family of 6 for one day tickets, but if we could back multiple times I think it may be worth it!

It seems like a lot of guest tour in the first couple of hours and leave by 2 or 3 to go back and get ready for night entertainment, so I believe the parks would not be very crowded at all.

We love both parks and I would by the annual pass in a heartbeat.

YAY! I am so excited! We let our Florida resident annual passes to the parks lapse last year, but we still take two annual trips to the Fort in August and again in early December. Can't wait to surprise our kids with these!
