Florida-Resident Universal Annual Pass

If we rent a house in Orlando (longer term, say 12 months), can we buy a Florida-Resident Universal Annual Pass right away? Or do we have to live there for six months first?

I think you need one of the following: FL drivers license, FL issued ID, FL voter ID, or college/university ID.
