Hi! I recently bought tickets for my 2 cousins who are jr. bridesmaids in my upcoming wedding. The girls are 14 and 10 so I bought them adult Florida Resident tickets. I was wondering, does anyone know how Disney would make them show proof of Florida residency if they are technically still kids and do not have any form of ID? TIA! :goodvibes

When you order Florida Resident tickets, you will receive an exchange certificate in the mail. Redeem the exchange certificate at any Walt Disney World® Theme Park ticket window by presenting the exchange certificate and valid photo ID.

Tickets are non-transferable, are only valid during regularly scheduled operating hours and exclude activities/events priced separately. No additional discounts apply. Proof of Florida residency for each adult required.

When I have gotton tickets for my two boys (age 3 and 4) I did not have to give thim any thing as proof of name or age, of course there last name was the same as mine

a quate from the "moms panel" at DW web site

Welcome to the Moms Panel! If you have any of the below forms of identification you will be able to take advantage of the Florida resident ticket offerings from Walt Disney World:

•Florida driver′s license
•Florida state-issued ID card (must have Florida address)
•Florida voter′s registration card with corresponding picture ID
•A college ID for a Florida college
•Florida-based military ID
Hope this helps!

Ok thanks! It makes sense that for any type of annual pass they'd need to see some form of ID but for a one-day ticket I wasn't sure. All of my other bridesmaids are FL Residents as well, so I was hoping that Disney would understand that although under their rules they are "adults" they don't have any formal identification yet. Thanks again!:)

My girls are 13 and 11. I have never had to show ID for them when I exchanged their voucher for their annual pass.
