Florida resident going for only 3 days - best pass?

My grandparents (87 years old!) are Florida residents and will be joining us at Disney for three days of our trip in November. What is the best pass for them to buy? If I understand correctly, the only special passes for Fla. residents are the seasonal or annual passes - is that correct? Would they just be better off buying three regular one day passes? Thanks for any advice!

If they buy three regular one-day passes, they will not be able to park hop during any of those three days - they are One-day, One-park passes. The seasonal passes are such a good deal, especially if there is ANY chance they will go back, but you could compare the prices and decide. Just make sure that they will be valid the days you will be there, they might be blacked out thanksgiving week. Can't remember.

Just checked prices for you. Three one-day tickets will be $152.64 for each grandparent (50.88 per person, per day). A seasonal pass will be 189.74 and that is good in all of November (blackouts are Christmas, Easter and most of the summer.) A 4-day park hopper costs more - 203.52. You can buy any of these, except the one-day, one-parks if you have a DC membership. Sounds like the UPH or Seasonal pass would be the way to go if they want to park-hop.

There's a 3 Day 3 Park ticket for about $135...but you don't get to Park Hop with it. If they are resort guests the 3 day UPH ticket is about $154 and it allows them unlimited access to everything for those 3 days. Otherwise -- the 4 Day Hopper would probably be the best bet. There are a few places that sell them at a discount and maybe somebody else in your family can use the extra days on a future trip.

Make sure you check out the section on Florida Residents -- there is something called a Play 4 ticket that expires in September for $99, but maybe they'll extend it. You never know!!!

If you go before the end of September, they have a play 4 pass for only $99. This is a four day park hopper pass just for Florida residents. If you can afford it, just get a seasonal pass for $189.
