Florida Resident Discounts

My in laws live in Florida and have offered to book our reservations in order to get the Florida resident discount. Does anyone know if WDW verifies you are a Florida resident at check in? I would think they do.

They would have to check in with you. They could use the room for all of you or book two rooms witht the rate. The one booking the room must show their FL id when checking in.

Are they going with you?? They can book a reservation for themselves and your party as well at a FL resident rate, but they have to be going as well. They do ask for ID when you check in. And, of course they will confirm your name and address when you check in.

I had booked 2 cabins back in Feb. for us and my brother's family coming from GA. They told me at CRO that I had to book both ressies under my name but when I checked they told me I could have booked them separately as long as my name showed on their reservation?

Yes, they do ask for ID verifying that you are a Florida resident.

No, they aren't going with us. That's exactly what I thought they would do - check an ID. Since she offered, I wanted to confirm.
