Does anyone know... are Florida part time residents eligible for these discounted hotel rates like they are able to buy the same park tickets at the same discounted rates as full time FL residents? If so, what do you need as proof when you check in? Are the same types of documents you can use to buy your tickets acceptable for check in? Would anyone know how you could actually check on this? I know if you try calling the hotel, you actually get rerouted to a call center and they don't necessarily know what they are talking about. Thanks for any advice anyone can offer. :goodvibes

I am a Florida resident and frequent Disney often. The only thing you need to show them is your Florida drivers license. As long as you have that you should be fine... :thumbsup2.

But Part time residents don't have FL driver's licenses. That's the problem. You need to reside in FL full time or more than 6 mo to have a FL driver's license. So a PT FL resident (someone who owns a home in FL but doesn't reside there, maybe only spends a few months a year there) would they be eligible? And what documentation can you use? Thanks for any help! :goodvibes

I know this is an old thread, but I was hoping you might have gotten an answer to your question at a hotel. I have the same thoughts.

We are going to show our utility bill and bank statement to purchase an annual pass as a part-time resident, but can you do this to obtain Florida resident rates at the hotel too?

Once I have the AP will that suffice as proof? I was thinking of checking in before going to the park to buy the pass though.

Either or will be fine for hotel....
Bank statement must be dated within last three months.
Honestly, I ended up finding that the AP rates were the same as the FL resident rates so I just went with them since it was easier to show the AP. That was until DD became a CM then once she did that, those discounts were incredible!!! 60% off!!! So I went with them!! LOL!

Thanks for the info. We are just going to wing it. We get there on the 22 and will buy our AP and just stay at our house. I really wanted to stay one night at a deluxe for our 22nd anniversary on the 23rd. We rearranged our plans to arrive on the 22nd. So I will see if I can do a last minute on the 23rd. If not, it's still okay. Might manage to stay one night the next week.
