Florida resident annual pass and dining plan???

I'm not sure this is budget board material, but it is about saving money.

I have recently moved to Florida and will be buying a annual pass, can I buy the dining plan with a room only reservation? I love the dining plan and the savings it provides, but the saving for Florida residents is greater.

If you book an AP room only you can add the dining plan on. It makes it a package but you can do it.

But, before you do that, do the math. Look at the menus and figure out what you might/most likely will order. Write those numbers down. Then go here: http://www.dvcrequest.com/dining_plan_calculator.asp punch in your numbers and figure out how much the dining plan will cost you. Then, look at how much a Tables in Wonderland card will cost, Figure out the discount of your original number and compare that to the original number and the Dining Plan number. It might be cheaper to pay OOP.

Personally, the TIW card saves me more. But, we enjoy apps more than dessert and DH and I enjoy an adult beverage with dinner. 20% off of those add up!

Only the purchaser can use it, but it's good for up to 10 people.
