Does anyone know if there is a discount for a Florida resident for WL end of November?TIA

There is no codes out yet but I'm sure there will be. Last year I got CR wing the weekend after Thanksgiving for $161 w/tax and ASMo for $55 w/tax though I know that the prices have gone up this year slightly. Several years ago they only had resort discounts Jan., May, and Sept. These months were considered FL months. Its typically slower these months of the year. But the past couple of years there have been FL rates for everyday of the year. The price depends on the season (Value, Regular, Peak, and Holiday). End of November is a good time to go.

Thanks DisneyWisher. How do the codes work and when are they usually announced? When I called the CM said there was only discounts available till Oct. 4. I made the reservation but will I be able to get the discount later? Thanks so much for your help.

They should be released over the next couple of weeks. Usually our local Sunday paper will have ads for them. You can also check Disneyworld.com and click on FL residents. They offer us more rooms than AP holders. I go to Disney about 4-6 times a year. I work weekends so when I get a chance to get away I'm Disney bound. Our next trip is in 18 days(5th trip so far this year, great being AP holders) though whose counting. LOL
So far this year this is how I made my reservations.
January booked room while driving to Disney.(got Pop for $49 a night)
March called Saturday for availabilty the next day.(got WL for $139 a night)
April called in March, right after the march trip (got AKL for $139 a night)
May called the day before got WL for $139 a night

so its easy. I love living in FL. :cool1:

Wow Disneywisher, that's awesome! I had no idea it was so easy to get FL resident rates. I always get FL resident or AP rates, but I call as early as possible because I am afraid that they are going to go away/fill up.
