We have been away over the weekend but we recorded this to watch, I must say that I thought the editing was pretty shocking!
I felt very sorry for the people who bought the home cinema business, being in business myself I know how difficult it is to make something work, especially if as Mike says you have been decieved into thinking that the business is making money when it's not. There are a lot of unscruplious people out there just waiting to take advantage of those who are holding on to their dream.
I'm sure that many of us on here have this dream, I know that I do. DH and I have risked almost everything to start our business here in the UK, thankfully for us we are doing ok, but there have been times when it's been quiet and we have been worried. I can;t imagine having that feeling 4000 miles from home with no family to help.
Mike - I am really pleased to hear that your family are making a go of it. The programme should have explained that they had their flights booked for a visit.
As for the tea room people, I thought the concept of the business was really good and well done for them on making it a great business, they have obvioulsy done well out of property too. I did think that them being so rude about their customers won't have done them any favours, and I think that she should maybe Google American History as there is quite a bit of it out there
