Florida Meal Tax?

I am wondering if anyone knows what the meal tax is in Florida?

Also, am I right that the tax is included in DDP?

Don't know how much the tax is, but on the meal plan it's included. Just the tip that isn't.

6.5% at most places in the WDW complex (some of the resorts, specifically the values, are in a 7.0% tax jurisdiction).

The quoted price of the dining plans includes all taxes; you do not need to pay meal taxes separately.

The $39.99 includes tax or is it added when you purchase?
