Florida Hotel Tax Rate Change

In case anyone else has a small charge amount show up out of the blue on their credit card statement like we did for a reservation that we are holding for a stay in December at Cypress Pointe, after calling Hotel Kingdom, I was told it was a change in the tax rate for Florida hotels. It was only a $2.37 charge, but I was so surprised to see any charge amount show up from Cypress Pointe since we reserved and paid for our stay way back the beginning of May. Just thought maybe I could save someone the time of digging everything out and trying to figure out what the charge could possibly be for, like I had to do.

Weird that it took so long, as that change went into effect months ago.
