2011 Florida spring rental car deals starting @ $5 per day

They are trying to get some of there cars back to stores that are running low on stock. So they want people who are flying into Florida to drive their cars back for $33 a week!!

2011 Rental car deals drive out from Florida:

Hertz:
$5 per day, or $33 per week, Economy or compact Class
Pickup: April 24 to June 12
Locations: Througout Florida
Min 1 day to 14 days (2 weeks)

Oh wow! We are flying to Disney, but haven't bought airfare home due to the prices. We had been discussing doing a one way rental and driving home. Our Hertz is one participating, i'm getting rates of $5-$15 a day. Thanks for posting this OP

This is my favorite deal!!
Use it almost every year for our summer trips. Last year we got a Prius from National. Kept it for 3 weeks. 1 week at wdw and the drove to HHI for a week at the beach. My DB flew in to join us, dropped us off at ATL for our flight home to Tx and he drove home to Mchigan dropped the car off.
Had the car for 21 days and it was $250 plus gas. It was a prius so gas was cheap!


I already have our car booked For our return trip to Tx. I like having a car so I can shop!

Just tried a bunch of different places in FL to fly into and then drive back and return the car somewhere in MA or NH and could only find an Aveo, which will not fit my family. everything else was full price.

Try Avis Budget and National. They all offer drive out specials but the terms vary.

I booked a full size car with Hertz. We are picking up at mco and returning to dfw or dye if my brother can join us this year.
