hi, just to let you know from reading various posts about florida holiday prices, i was looking through my app travelzoo and it is a good little travel app that shows various holiday deals with travel agents and they have been coming up with some good florida deals and if your flexible with your dates or don't have any constraints than it would be a good app to have.

And the other places i use is travel supermarket or holiday hypermarket and you can get deals under £1500 if you stay outside of disney and yes if you go indirect it can be cheaper but its not always alot extra for direct flights.

Our holiday for 2 weeks at the end of sept is about £700 each which is flying direct with virgin and staying at champions world and than £230 for car hire.

Its the tickets and spending money that make it expensive in the end but its worth it .

It's great if you can travel outside of shcool holidays as you can nearly always find good deals. A lot of people here use Travelzoo. If you aren't fussy about when you go and are happy to stay in a budget hotel, you can definitely do it relatively cheaply. Like you say, the costs come when you add on your tickets.

travelzoo .. is like having all in one package. Last week its iPhone app is released.. My next trip will be awesome through it.
