FLORIDA beach information

My husband and I are going to the Miami area in April for a couple of nights and then on to Key West for a few nights.

Since you all are so great at giving useful information on EVERY subject, would anyone be interested in recommending some great hotels? Prices isn't really a huge factor, nor is location in Miami. We can stay in the Miami beach area, Biscayne Bay, Coconut Grove... where ever.

The deciding factor that we are looking for help and information on both cities is - the BEACH.

We are landlocked Nebraskans and so we want to have the best beach experience possible.

Any ideas would be a great help!!! I appreciate it!!
