Florida Annual Disney Pixie Dust Pass Question

Hello -
Interested in purchasing now online several Florida resident annual Disney Pixie Dust Passes and gifting them to family members for Christmas. Since these passes are annual passes, would the yearly expiration date start on the purchase date or when first used ? Also, if these tickets are purchased, is free park parking included and how does one use the free parking perk on the first occasion as all my family members will have is a paper receipt from the online purchase and not the actual ticket ? Thanks

The Pixie pass expires one year from first use. Standard theme park parking is included with the pass and so far we've just flashed the AP card at the booth and they wave us through after about 10 visits. Some point of purchase places validate the AP to give the merchandise and food discounts, some just look to see you have an AP card. I forgot my AP card in my room once and still got a discount by showing the Annual Pass features/news on the Disney app that are activated when you have an active AP.

You can activate your pass at Disney Springs if you want to avoid the parking hassle.

If you want to activate the APs at the park gate, Here is how you handle parking:
Pay for parking at the lot and keep your receipt.
Goto guest services and activate your AP and ask them to refund your parking. Present the receipt.

Way back when I upgraded my regular ticket to start my AP I paid for parking that day so when I was in the park at Guest Relations doing the AP thing I also presented my parking receipt & got a refund. Yes free parking is included with an AP.

Your AP expiration date will be whatever the 1st day the AP is used in a park.
