Our reservations at FW start Sat. June 2. We will be leaving from Louisiana on Thursday evening planning a leisurely drive spending the first night around Biloxi.
It is our plan to stay Friday night somewhere between Lake City and Orlando to be able to drive to FW around noon on the 2nd.
Any suggestions on a RV park near the interstate on the route between Lake City, and 3 or 4 hours north of Orlando would be appreciated. Close proximity to a golf course for a late round Friday would be a plus. LOL

Thanks in advance,
GRIFF

Not sure if ocala would be an option for
you, or not. lots of campgrounds, including
the national forest.

Just happened to have my Woodall's handy.....

Ocala is about half way between Lake City and Orlando on RT 75. There are lots of campgrounds listed (sorry, i don't see any that are bosting golf on property or near by)
Here are two that have at least a 4W rating (after staying at other 4W rated campsites and seeing FW - which has 5W's - i tend to not want to stay at less than a 4W joint)

Holiday Trav-L-Park (352) 622-5330
KOA-Ocala/Silver Springs (800)562-7798

hope this helps - lori
