does anyone know if AKL pool rents floaties for the pool? would be sooo ralxing to just catch some rays while floating around.....:p

I really can't speak for AKL but I don't ever remember seeing floats at the resort pools. I think it just gets too crowded with floats in the pool.

I want to say no too, but I have never been to AKL. I know when my son was little he was not even allowed to wear arm floats at any of the water parks or stormalong bay.

I stayed at the AKL last year and I can't remember ever seeing any "floaties." Several years ago I know that the POFQ (Dixie Landings back then) rented life jackets to young children, but I can't remember seeing those either. Its probably because the pools would get too crowded if everyone had them...

The only float I remember seeing at any WDW pool were the noodles and that was a few years ago. Other than swimming aids, I've never seen floats allowed.

Hi there...

I was at akl for 9 nights.. never saw anything in the pool other than some kids in life vests... except for when the CM's were playing a game with the kids one day and they had those foam noodles and beach balls.

Floats aren't allowed for safety reasons--it's too hard to watch the water underneath them. That's the reason that SAB is replacing all of the yellow inndertubes with clear ones.
