Since the pool season is finally upon us I just unpacked DS's floating b-suit and thought that maybe there are some people who may need the web site for these. For those of you who are unfamiliar with them they are GREAT. The suit has foam inserts sewn right in. Unlike the ones that have the removable one these are part of the suit so they can't "Float out". David is a size L which is 70-105 lbs. The suit is so sturdy we have had it for 2 years and are on our 3rd with just a little bit of fading.(and we have a very high clorine rate in out pool) When David has on the suit he can "Swim" around the pool on his own (We are never far away:) ) but he does not have to hang on and he loves this. The suit does not allow him to tip like the old inner tube suit we had for him. Hope this helps. This is the first year I have noticed that they are making them in adult sizes!!!!! Don't despair if there is not a store near you listed you can call and order direct from the factory. :pinkbounc HAPPY POOL TIME!!!!!!

Thanks for the testimonial. They look quite interesting in the ads, but I wondered if they sort of tipped in ways that would make them unstable in the water. Good information.

We had one that lasted about 3 years before our son outgrew it, it was wonderful. We had no problem with tipping over, the floats were sewn into the torso section. It was very nice, and he loved it.

So glad to read this! I picked up a floating suit for my son this year and was wondering how it would work. He hasn't gotten to try it out yet due to new ear tubes w/complications. He goes back to the ENT Wednesay -- hopefully he will get the OK for swimming! Please keep your fingers crossed for him! :)

We have ear tubes in too!!! We are on our 4th pair and have found the best thing to use in the pool is "Silly Putty". We tried wax plugs, plastic plugs, cotton with vaseline, and swimming headband etc and the thing that really seems to work is silly putty , It sort of molds to the ear. Check with your DR. first but ours OK'ed. Good luck!!

After 4 sets of ear tubes, middle ear surgery, and needing a hearing aide for DS we invested in custom made ear molds. They were 60 dollars a set.

After arriving at Blizzard Beach I realized I had left them in the room! DS said don't worry I just won't go under but i knew he would not enjoy the stay at BB trying not to get his ears wet. I tried the gift shop and luckily they sold the white wax plugs. They were 2 sets for just over $3. Not bad for Disney $$$!

We had a great time-- suggest arriving early and beating a lot of the crowd
