Does anyone know if you can walk up and get a float to rent on CC, or do you HAVE to "reserve" one. We don't know if we'll want one, and if you don't have to "reserve" one to get one, that is what we'll do. I realize that they may be out of them, but we would only be using them on the adult beach and thought maybe we could just walk up and get one then. Counting down to a "girls only" cruise: May 1!

I do believe you can walk up and rent one with your KTTW card. We've been at CC 5 times and I don't ever remember them running out.....

I didn't "reserve" one either and I just walked up. I was their first customer for the day though so I don't know if they run out or not.

Can you rent the floats over at the Adult Beach???

Yes, you can rent them at the adult beach too.
A suggestion: Buy some of the cheap rafts at K-Mart or someplace like that and bring them with you. They're usually so inexpensive that you can just toss them or give them away if you don't feel like bringing them home. As an added bonus, we get the ones that are brightly colored so no one can steal them (sometimes people steal the Disney floats). I guess the thieves know it would be too obvious to steal my neon green raft.

Dont worry about it there is plenty of floats and snorkel equipment! Enjoy your trip!

we didnt reserve a float but had no problem getting them at the adult beach - we then used them as a cushion on our lounge chairs when we werent floating on them!!

The floats cost $6 (maybe only $5). THere are two types - the mats and the tubes. Once you've rented on type, you can go and exchange it for the other type if you feel like it - You just have to haul it up to the float station and make a trade!

Another ploy (that's worked for us) is to just sorta hang out in the morning. Often, by the early afternoon there are a number of returned or abandoned floats around the adult beach. The CMs there are pretty cool, and will often just let you have one rather than make you pay for the thing. Not that $5 is going to break me, but if I don't decide that I'm'a float until about 2:00, it's nice to not have to pay the full-day rate.

We always get the "package" I believe it's 26.00 and you get float, snorkle and bike rental.

We just got back from CC on 3/18 and had our own snorkel equipment. There were tons of floats available and hardly anyone used them. You could easily get one any time of the day. I would say snorkel equipment is a must, everyone enjoyed looking at the "shipwreck". There is so much to do I wouldn't bother with the bikes unless you really want to leave the beach and see the island. You don't have much time here - ship leaves at 5:00 pm so I would spend your time at the cove. Just swimming and hanging out is enjoyable. Wait and see if you really want a float when you get there.

Our ship was full and there were plenty of chairs, floats, etc for everyone.
