FLL what to do pre and post cruise?

Just booked the Allure of the Sea in March. We fly in the day before and fly out the night we disembark. Any recommendations of what to do and where to eat pre and post Cruise.

Royal often has a disembarkation day excursion where they hold your bags and ultimately get you to the airport. Could be nice depending on how late your flight is.

Thank you for this we just decided to do the air boat trip thru Royal and they then return us to FLL airport!
