FLL DCL transportation question

We are taking a Disney cruise out of FLL for the first time over Christmas. We have Disney transportation booked from the airport to the port. Does anyone know what time the buses start running and what time check ins start? Does anyone know if it would be better to just book out of one of their preferred hotels rather than the airport? We just thought the hotels didn't look that great review wise for the rates they were charging. Thank you.

We just used Uber they were charging a lot from our hotel to the port. I think it was half of what they were charging.

That way you can pick what ever hotel you want.

It's less than a 10 minute ride from the Port to FLL. A taxi or Uber would be cheaper? On debarking, there was a very well organized taxi queue to get back to the Airport. We had 4 people with luggage and it was less than $20.
