i'll do you one better-we reported a stolen discover card once. rep sez "no problem, we'll issue you a new one under a new account number". they LINKED to old card to the new card, so the "theif" went in and by virtue of having the old card racked up more charges on the new card!. we ended up having to do 2 separate dispute processes that took over a year to resolve (in our favor). we DO NOT deal with discover any more!
