We just returned from a week at a one bedroom at BCV.
DS slept on the sleeper coach. The mattress was awful. You could feel the springs if you ran a hand over the mattress. For the first two nights, he didn't get much sleep. I couldn't imagine having springs immediately under a thin cover so I took the sheets off and turned the mattress over to see what the other side looked like. What had been the bottom of the mattress had a stiched label in two inch letters that said "THIS SIDE UP".
Housekeeping had placed the mattress upside down before putting on the sheets. We flipped the mattres and re-made the couch bed. DS was comfortible for the rest of the trip.

So, if you sleep on the couch bed and the mattress doesn't feel comfortible - flip it over.

Thanks for the tip! DD's 13 & 8 will have to share the sleeper sofa, and that will be a dramatic enough scene without springs playing into the picture!

Thanx for the heads up, Sims.
When I read the title of the thread, I thought you were reffering to the thread about running out of toilet paper...:teeth:

LOL!! This is true and I found out the hard way! After years of sleeping comfortably on the OKW sleep sofa, I had a wicked night. As you describe, the springs were digging into me. The next morning I discovered someone had flipped over the mattress trying to hide a stain on the "right" side. I mentioned the problem at the front desk not expecting that they had mattresses on hand. Not too much later, a lady housekeeper was at the door with the mattress balanced on her head (and we were on the second floor). She changed them and headed back down with the mattress again....only I couldn't let her do it on her own!

So, put Sims' advice in the back of your head. If it doesn't feel right, try the flip! ;)

Now here's some great advice you won't find in the Members Guidebook! Thanks for the handy tip!

And Maistre Gracey....I'm worried about you. When's your next trip to WDW....I think you're overdue!!:)
