We just returned from a week at a one bedroom at BCV.
DS slept on the sleeper coach. The mattress was awful. You could feel the springs if you ran a hand over the mattress. For the first two nights, he didn't get much sleep. I couldn't imagine having springs immediately under a thin cover so I took the sheets off and turned the mattress over to see what the other side looked like. What had been the bottom of the mattress had a stiched label in two inch letters that said "THIS SIDE UP".
Housekeeping had placed the mattress upside down before putting on the sheets. We flipped the mattres and re-made the couch bed. DS was comfortible for the rest of the trip.
So, if you sleep on the couch bed and the mattress doesn't feel comfortible - flip it over.
