Flip flops other than Teva that won't break bank

I'm a flip flop fiend and wear them throughout the year but I'm ready to move on from Old Navy.

So what are the specific style of Reef sandals? I'm looking and love the look of the leather bottom style but I assume everyone is wearing the squishier styles?

Pigletto-what do you think made the Sanuk sandals cause pain?

I also have a pair of Birkenstocks but not sure how everyone thinks they are comfortable. I've been trying to break them in for about 3 weeks now :crazy2:

I live in Birks, from about April till November, and always wear them to Disney. The key for me, is buying the soft footbed. They are heavenly. They don't come in all the cute styles, but my feet are very fussy, and they like the ugly Birks better than any other shoe LOL.

Patricia Crocs - so comfy and dressy too - plus they have Mickey ones!

Reef - have worn the same pair for 3 WDW and 1 DLR trips  Mine are a discontinued model but the salespeople that I have asked said that the Sandy is the closest to mine.

Last surf shop I went to (in Puerto Rico) told me mine are the holy grail of Reef flips. I ask in every surf/beach shop I go to (and that has been a lot of them!) about my style but no go  Don't understand why companies change their "formula" when people love them so much!

I tried the Tevas but they fit so narrow, I was wondering why so many people love them. Then I read that this is the new style - they went right back. Right now I have some Flojos that look nice and are comfy but I would not try them all day in the parks.

Have you tried FitFlops? I wore mine on alternate days with my Reefs on the DLR trip and they are super comfortable. I also have a pair of Birkenstocks but not sure how everyone thinks they are comfortable. I've been trying to break them in for about 3 weeks now :crazy2:

I haven't tried the FitFlops. I've seen them in Famous Footwear which I usually have a coupon for. Planning on a big flip flop finding weekend of shopping this weekend since it's supposed to not be the greatest weather here. I've made a big list of which ones to look for but some I may have to look online for since Bozeman is not a shopping mecca. :) Thank you!

DisneyDogs - those are soooo cute with the Mickey heads!!! I do own some Croc flip flops - 4 pair :). This may be TMI, but at the parks, they were comfortable but if my feet became sweaty, they would slip around on the footbed. They work wonderfully here in Montana though.

you can get the original (at least, that's what it says) teva mush flip flops for $25.00 from the teva website. I have tried the mush II, and it is definitely narrower. i can wear my teva mush in Disney for days-they never rub between my toes or on the top of my foot. LOVE them!

I know a lot of people swear by Fit Flops, but they do something to make my knees hurt pretty bad after a few hours of wear. Maybe I have a weird walk or something, but they just don't work for me at all.

Another vote for Reefs, the Sandy style!

I have wide, VERY flat feet and I wear Reefs all day, every day to the park. They are my favorite flip flop. I tried Teva Mush on a few times but they always felt too narrow for my wide feet.

I'm another big yoga mat sanuk fan. But I only like the Yoga Mat ones, not the Yoga spree ones. The spree ones have a thinner foot bed, so they aren't as comfy and are a bit more narrow, so those are a no-go for me since I have a wider foot. I've seen a few people say that there's get slippery when they are wet, but I've never had that problem. They do absorb some of the water, so you can feel that they are squishy after you get off of splash mountain or kali river rapids, but they dry out quickly.

My favorite flip flops are Oka b (shoes that you love). They have different heel heights, strap widths. I also like that they are made in America.

How do the Reefs Sandy flip flop fit? I am a very solid size 7, fairly narrow foot.

Those Mickey crocs are ADORABLE :goodvibes

Montrail Molokini, best flips ever! Amazon has some colors/sizes for $35ish. When they arrive, you bake them in the oven. Take them out and wear them around so they actually mold to your foot shape! Crazy? Yes, but oh so comfy!:goodvibes

I don't know what "model" my reefs are but I tend to have a narrow foot and I love my reef flip flops.

That does sound crazy! I have to google these now lol.

Does anyone have plantar fasciitis? I suffer terribly from it and buying shoes, especially summer shoes has become unbearable.
