Flip flops or tennis shoes?

Although you probably take both, which do you wear more often at WDW?

  • Flip Flops

  • Sneakers (tennis shoes)

Argghh...

I can't make up my mind! Yes, I'll take both, but interested in opinions here...

Do you usually wear your tennis shoes most of the time, or your comfy flip flops (ie; rainbows)?

I took both but I definately wore my croc flip flops the most. In fact I think I only wore my runners one day.

I used to wear sneakers and ended up with blisters every trip. Once I discovered Crocs I have not gone back. Total comfort and ne blisters.

Teva Mush girl all the way!!!!:thumbsup2

Cross-trainer type "tennis shoes" usually do well for me. DW tried one of her favorite pairs of sandals on day one of our last trip and got some blisters so she switched to tennies and they helped but she still tried to minimize walking for the next several days.

I will wear a strapped on sports sandal (not the slip on type) if I'm going to a pool. Last trip to DL I also grabbed those to go from GCH to Grizzly River then right back; I don't want to cahnce walking in them for extended distances.

When I'm in Orlando, I feel like I'm almost in San Diego, just the opposite side of the country. So being from SD, flip flops all the way! :thumbsup2

I was, for 22 years of my life, a strictly tennis shoes only girl. (I have wide feet). I actually bought some Croc Capri flip flops a few years ago, and rarely take them off. I even wear them around the house!!!! I wore them last year (Nov.) to Disney and only wore my covered Crocs when it was too cold to wear flops. My feet don't hurt and I don't get blisters.

Definitely the most comfortable shoes ever made! I wear them every trip! Can't stand hot tennis shoes and Crocs are too slippery. Love, love, love my Teva Mush flip flops.

Okay, you all have convinced me.

All I see on this site is Teva, Teva, Teva....so I did a little looking and was able to order a pair thru Sierra Trading Post, going thru my Ebates account for $17.16 shipped, which looks like a decent deal to me.

Hopefully they'll be here soon!

I just ordered 2 pairs from them. Used a 20% off plus free shipping coupon code and they came to just under $24. I'll start wearing them around the house to make sure they're ready for Disney in January.

I am going to be taking both my Mickey Mouse Crocs and tennis shoes. My feet always swell up at WDW with all the walking and I am not comfortable in flip flops. If you can walk miles and miles in them, more power to ya :thumbsup2

In the parks I have to wear tennis shoes! Sorry guys I don't care how "comfy" crocs are, they look stupid and you'll never catch me in them!

I wear my Teva Mush flip flops everyday, but in Disney I do tennis shoes. But, the Teva's are always in the backpack.

Well I plan on wearing myt Old Navy flip flops...if I could wear flips flops all year I would. (Kinda hard though to wear them in snow.)

I'm all about Flip Flops. For me they are as comfortable Sneakers, probably even more comfortable actually. Also, I really hate wearing sneakers in warm weather...too hot and constricting.

I stick with flip flops, but I'm talking about the ones with thick soles & ribbon tops. Can't wear the crocs because of my instep, besides I, too think they are ugly.
The Tevas are great if you are going to get wet from rain, etc. don't have to worry about it.

Sneakers are just too hot. I don't know about flip flops in January as it can be pretty cold.
