Flip flops on roller coasters?

This may be a silly question, but what do you do if you are wearing flip flops and want to ride Hulk or Dueling Dragons? I'm afraid they will fly off if I wear them, but can I go barefoot on the coasters? Where would I leave my sandals? In a locker? By the track where I get on the coaster? Thanks in advance for the input on this!

If there isn't a locker or a friend to hold them. Just hold them your self when you get on the ride or stick them in your purse. I always hold mine and/or my sunglasses if I bring them, if I can't fit them in my pocket. May be uncomffy but you could always put them down your pants.

The Hulk you won't have to worry about cause your sitting in a car and your feet is not dangeling but Dueling Dragons is a diffrent story your feet will be dangeling and you should be able to take off your flip flops off and put them in the seat and sit on them

DH lost his FAVORITE hat on Dudley He was PO'ed because it isn't one that you can just buy anywhere. It was a Fenway visor and we got it in Boston!!!! Be sure to take off your hats and glasses for that final drop

This applies to JPRA, ROTM, and any ride with a fast spin or a drop. "Hang on to your hats ('and your soul' at ROTM)"means just that. Once hats fly off, they're most likely GONE.

I always sit on my flip flops too! Going barefoot on a coaster is almost as fun as skinny dipping

That reminds me of last year when I took my oldest DS on rotm and forgot to take off my hat and we were in the first car and it flew off and after the ride I told DS lets go and buy me a new hat and guy walking behind us said this must be yours it landed by my wife
Now what are the odds on that one especially they were nice enough to catch up to me to give it back

If I see someone in the row with me who has a hat or glasses on, I'll usually tell them they'd better take them off...just in case.

i caught the drivers license of one of them but the park tickets they had and the express pass was out of my reach to grab them.

afterwards, they talked to a tm for help.

You always want to make sure the valuables are secured before riding. You know...glasses, hats, tickets, bras, panties, etc.

if you wear a lanyard around yer neck (like Bubba does), just tuck it IN your shirt
