I love to wear flip flops during the summer & Usually going to DL my feet can handle flip flops. But since there is Way more walking at WDW would it be way too much walking to just wear my flip flops??:confused3

Please post your opinion. Thanks!

all i wore was flip flops...I am the same way i much prefer that over gymshoes and my feet were okay I wasn't dying:yay:

My feet kill me if I wear tennis shoes at WDW. I love my Teva Mush flip flops:cloud9: and never have any trouble with them at WDW. They make every trip (no matter the weather) and are usually the shoes I wind up in. I usually carry a couple pair of crocs (Beach or Aspens), Reef flip flops, Croc Athens flip flops, a pair of Adidas flip flops, or a pair of Teva Pretty Rugged leather sandals, but again usually wind up in my Teva Mush flip flops. They are perfect for the walking at WDW.

People wear them all the time at WDW. Just don't get mad if someone in the crowd steps on the back of them. I saw that happen recently. It was very crowded on Main Street of MK just before the parade. A guy accidently stepped on the back of a lady's flipflop. I'm sure it wasn't comfortable for her, but it was an accident. She went off on the poor guy.

I now only wear flip flops at DW and never have any problems. I wear Columbia flip flops that have a tennis shoe type bottom. As long as you are wearing a good quality flip flop (not those thin flat ones), I think you'll be fine.

Well, I would go crazy in them. But then again, we tend to go a little fast. Try it and take something in case you need to change the next day. Some people alternate days.

Another family of flip flop wearers here! My dds and I wear them in all but the coldest weather. I agree that a good, broken in, comfortable pair is the best. My favorites are reefs and tevas. My dd10 has a pair of the croc athens but doesn't wear them much. She did not like them at Disney and went back to her reefs!

I wear flip flops and so do DDs. Just be mindful if you have the little ones switch back and forth between sneakers and flip flops that the sneakers makes them a little taller. DD6 was able to ride the Primeval whirl with her sneaks but a couple days later she went to ride it again in her flip flops and was a smidgen too short! Just an FYI!

It's the Nike Ceso flip flops for my crew. Just bought new ones at Kohl's last week. I even wear them for working out on our treadmill. Can't find a comfortable pair of gym shoes for my extremely narrow feet.

I just have to say that is a great picture!

All I wear in the warm weather is flip flop, and this is even at disney. They are comfortable, and keep your feet cool. The only thing is on rides where your feet hang, which is only one, I just sit on them.

Try crocs.. Before the 'croc era' I wore flip flops with toe socks (OUCH) =/. But try crocs, I bet they'll work great at Disney.

Another plug for Crocs flip flops. I wore mine non stop last summer and they are so comfy. I've never been crazy about FF's but these are super comfy and I actually like them a little more than my regular Crocs. I'm wondering about WDW....we leave on Thursday and I'm definitely going to take them with me and give 'em a try.

I wear sneakers, but have the Teva flip flops as well. We are fast walkers so the sneakers work for us. We saw LOTS of people with flip flops on though, so they must be comfy for some. :)

Another flip-flop wear here!! Actually, they're slides (no thingy between the toes), and I've worn a pair every trip for the entire trip. I hate hot feet when you're walking all day!!

I live by my flip flops also. I would wear them all year long if I could. My feet by the fourth day though were killing me. We had to go back to our campsite so I could switch to other shoes becuase I could not wear them anymore. My crocs were good, but they gave me blisters. This year I bought Teva's and another type of sandle/sneaker which is good for dry and wet days.
