Flip Flops allowed for dinner? HELP

Hey everyone we are leaving in 8hrs and was wondering if anyone knew if you could wear diamond studded flip flops in palo or in the dining room for dinner? We have nice outfits that look great with these flip flops so we are wondering

After reading these boards and the books I thought the dress code would be very strict. But I noticed that no matter what people wore, they all looked very nice be it casual or dressy. Of course, there's always that one person who goes against the grain, but what do I care

I thought I was the only one with diamond studded flip flops!!!! When we cruised on Princess a few years ago, some idiot lady at the airport decided she like my luggage better than her own, and I set sail with my swim suit and an extra pair of panties......fun. I did have baggage insurance thrugh AMEX and they told me to just have a ball and spend up to a thousand dollars on replacement clothes since it would be three days till we hit land. I had a ball in the gift shop, bot some nice clothes, a plush robe......but no underwear or shoes. So I hand washed the undies, and had to make do with the $75 diamond studded black satin flip flops that were the only shoes in the shop. And now I take them on every cruise!

So flip flop away.

The books are old..lol, DCL dress code is definately relaxed. The diamond flips would be excellent. Enjoy!

I wore my crystal studded flip flops on our cruise without a problem....wish they were diamonds!!

to cut down on the amount of shoes I take - I am taking a black pair of rhinestone studded flip flops......

I can't usually wear those type of shoes for long periods of time without my toes hurting, so I thought dinner with my capris - would be a match made in heaven. (pretend there is a dancing smiley face here)
