When are the flights for Spetember 2010 likely to be released?

I was looking at booking a package but wanted to compare booking hotel and flights seperatly.

Flights are released 11 months before i think?

11 months from you return date so if you want to return mid Sept you would start looking mid Oct but prices could be high to start, you need to know approx price you want to pay and wait until they drop.

I have been watching the prices for PE flights for this September from about December onwards. They have fluctuated from £820 to £880 in that time. Back in January/February they went down to £680/£700. Unfortunately we didn't know our plans then, so couldn't take up the great offer. This time, I know when I want to go, so can get them when they drop.

From what I can remember, Economy have been around the £400, although some dates in September have crept up to £500 in the last three months. Again, I think the January/February sale may have taken them down to about £300.

we paid 635 for 2 economy virgin flights leaving 27th aug back 11th sept last nov for this year

I paid £295 each for Virgin flights in Jan of this year for this Sept/Oct. Indirect flights with one the American airlines seem to be around £300 too

These posts have me torn, book when they come out of wait or try and get them cheaper in the sale! I think it'll depend on how long I can wait it out either there cheaper than I have budgeted

hello, unless i am going mad - i have gone into virgin holidays and put in a fly drive for august 2010 and a price is coming up, but i thought they were not out until later in the year=??

virgin holidays you will get a price for flydrive as they are guarenteed a certain amount of seats of Virgin Atlantics planes

If you want flight only prices from Virgin Atlantic they wont be out till 11 months beofre your return date as others have said

Flydrives are usually more expensive but what price are they giving you? might be an option. Also look at package incl hotel, its possibly as cheap as a flight. At Xmas flight/hotel package was cheaper than flight only for us but it rarely is.
