flights to orlando

my gosh, has anyone seen the airline prices to Orlando?? Im trying to get tickets from Philly to Orlando Thanksgiving week and the prices are about $500 round trip.. USA300 no longer flys to Orlando. Anyone have any good tips???

i just looked it up you didnt say the exact dates you are flying but i put in the wednesday before thanksgiving and than leaving monday the prices start at 296 roundtrip they had a lot of flights for that price. maybe try to change your day and see if that helps your price

We found it much cheaper to fly on Thanksgiving Day last year - hardly a soul in the airport either.

We're trying to get there on the 20th and return on the 26th!!! Unfort I can't go the week before or I would, its cheaper AND far less crowded... Last year I did not pay more than $200 each roundtrip... wahhhhhhh

Possibly wait for the SWA rates to come out. I would think that they should be out real soon. I believe that they book 4 months out. Have you considered flying out of EWR or even ACY. Since you're in Jackson I would think that EWR is just as far if not closer to you than PHL. ACY is a little further but Spirit has good rates and it's easy to get in and out of the ACY airport.

I am flying down in aug returning the day after labor day. I am flying down on a Sat. which is typically higher. We have ding fares from SW for a party of 5 from philly for 499.50. I booked each leg seperately or over 1,000 RT. and when a ding fare came up I re booked that leg of the trip for the cheaper rate. It takes some time, checking ding every day and cx the first flight to get the second cheaper. If you book the exact date and time to a cheaper fare, sw will credit your credit card back. Otherwise if you change times or days for a cheaper fare you get a sw air credit to use within one year. I did get exact times on one of my flights so I have a refund back. For the other, I have a sw credit to use on a future flight.

You cann't go wrong with SW...
